Chambers And Owen - Warehouse Heating Solution to Improve Heating Efficiency and Reduce Costs

Chambers and Owen, a warehouse supplier for convenience stores in the upper Midwest was able to receive a rebate from Wisconsin Electric of 5% with the installation of a fabric ductwork system. They were looking for a more efficient way of distributing air around their warehouse along with stopping air loss through the multiple loading dock doors.

One of the managers stated that with the new system in place the heaters, mounted away from the doors, "hadn't fired up this winter at all" and we were there at the end March. This system was custom made, as all our systems are, to cut down on heating expenses in an absolutely huge warehouse. This incorporates use of 24" ducts with holes that direct the warm air into the warehouse and to help keep cold air from entering the building. The photos are some examples of how the duct looks installed and at various points of being inflated and deflated, you can also see the air jet holes and patterns.

Air Distribution Concepts was commissioned to custom design and manufacture polyester ducting for use at the Wrigley Café' at Wrigley Field in Chicago. In addition to tempering the air, our client wanted as many sponsor logos applied as possible. Their specifications also stated that air jets and logos had to be placed in the same area. During the design process, we created a pattern of air jets that would work around the logos while providing adequate air diffusion. The Custom Designed Polyester Fabric Ducting featured flows of 3,500 CFM @ .3", and measured 182' long and had a diameter of 24" - and over 64 logo's throughout.

Product Description We manufactured this ducting system for use within a school pool. The existing duct was metal and had rusted from the pool chemicals. The fabric system is not affected by the pool chemicals.

Custom Manufactured Polyethylene Vent Ducting

Air Distribution Concepts is working with the agricultural industry to custom manufacture polyethylene vent ducting for calf barns. Polyethylene is a more economical choice over metal ducts; our vent ducting was designed to prevent recirculation of air, creating a clean environment free of airborne bacteria.

The vent ducting was built using the customer's specifications and ranged in length from 20' to 300', and its diameter ranged from 8" to 48".

Upon completion, our team and clients find the results are a cost savings, quality product that provides a solution they were looking for.

Product Description We manufactured this vent ducting for a calf barn from polyethylene due to the cost savings over metal ducts. The design prevents any recirculation of interior air due to the airborne bacterial counts associated with calf barns.
